MBBS course in Philippines is of 5 and half years for students who have done class 12th with a science background.
In the Philippines Medical University, students first need to enrol for a Pre-med program of 3-semesters, upon completion of which students can directly enrol for the MD program
The MD curriculum consists of 8 semesters, out of which 6 semesters of Basic Sciences are taught in the College, and 2 semesters of Clinical Medical Sciences taught at affiliated hospitals or approved training centres in the Philippines, India, US, UK, Canada.
