Education Pattern:
MBBS in Russia is of 6 years as per the US and European standards. In the first three years, students study the theoretical aspect of medicine, and the last three years focus on practical skills. Each year is subdivided into two semesters, which means the student has a total of 12 semesters in the whole course. Students can also opt for MBBS in Russian Medium. Duration of which is 7 years which includes 1 year as Russian Language Training (Preparatory Faculty)
Students studying MBBS in Russia goes through Problem Based Learning (PBL) pattern. PBL pattern focuses on developing self-learning and open a vast world of knowledge, which is absent in traditional learning patterns.
